Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical examinations and detailed medical history assessments
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely alongside surgeons to formulate and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and managing instrument transfers during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotations with a strong emphasis on surgical experience preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
