Licensed Journeyman Electrician

$38 - $52 per hour

TLC Electrical

Job Description

Licensed Journeyman Electrician

TLC Electrical is hiring a Texas-licensed Journeyman Electrician for residential and light commercial work across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

This is a field-first position. You'll take home a fully stocked service van with a gas card, and your day starts at your first job rather than at our Southlake shop. Job and customer details are sent directly to your company iPad through ServiceTitan.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair residential and light commercial electrical systems

• Complete panel and service upgrades, EV charger installations, lighting work, swimming pool work, device replacements, and code corrections

• Perform electrical work that has already been scoped and prepared for installation

• Communicate findings clearly and treat customers and their homes professionally

• Deliver safe, clean, code-compliant work

What you'll get

• $38-$52 per hour, plus a performance-based team bonus

• Take-home service van and gas card

• Health, dental, and vision benefits starting after 60 days

• Paid training, continuing education, and license renewal

• Company iPad and uniforms

• Additional pay for rotating on-call coverage

• Apprentice and operations support to reduce material runs and windshield time

• Opportunities to move into leadership as TLC opens new locations

What you'll bring

• Current Texas Journeyman Electrician license in good standing

• 1-5 years of residential or light commercial electrical experience

• Strong installation, diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills

• Your own hand and power tools

• Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record

• Ability to work in attics and crawl spaces, use ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds

TLC Electrical has served DFW since 2003. New ownership is investing in better trucks, equipment, systems, training, and career paths while building a team that values craftsmanship and promotes from within.

If you're a licensed electrician who wants steady field work, strong support, and the flexibility to start your day from home, we'd like to talk.

You should be proficient in:

Electrical Systems Diagnostics & Repair
Electrical Installation
Electrical Troubleshooting
Electrical Repair
EV Charger Installation (EVSE)
