Senior Project Manager

An award-winning, employee-owned General Contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its growing team in Indianapolis . You'll be responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead all phases of project delivery from preconstruction through completion. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and contract administration. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors. Lead project teams, including Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and field staff. Identify and manage project risks while driving solutions proactively. Oversee procurement, subcontractor negotiations, and change management. Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and financial objectives. Provide regular reporting on project performance to senior leadership. Mentor and develop junior members of the project management team. Project Experience The company delivers a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors including: Higher Education Commercial Corporate Office Manufacturing Community & Civic Life Sciences Mixed-Use Typical project values range from $30M to $100M+ . Requirements 10+ years of experience managing construction projects with a General Contractor. Proven experience delivering ground‑up projects valued at $30M+ . Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and risk management. Ability to lead multiple project teams and manage client relationships. Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
