Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

• Provide care for post open heart surgical patients, including those with severe heart failure and cardiac-related events requiring ICU care.
• Titrate a variety of drips such as dopamine, dobutamine, and vasopressin, following protocols and written orders.
• Use specialized equipment such as IABPs, Impellas, and ECMO.
• Interpret cardiac strips and manage advanced life support interventions.
• Coordinate with a team of healthcare professionals in a high-stress environment.
• Float to different levels of care as needed and take full patient team assignments.

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel

• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN preferred
• At least 2 years of solid CVICU experience
• Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and ability to interpret telemetry strips
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced, high-stress environment
