Phlebotomy Specialist Patient Service Center

Job Overview Phlebotomist will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. The work schedule is 25 hours weekly: Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm (no lunch break) and rotating Saturdays. Travel to additional sites may be required. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a recognized training program. At least 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 3 or more years of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, the phlebotomy certification must be from an accredited agency. Demonstrated record of exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as required. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST incentive plan, which provides quarterly bonuses based on performance metrics.
