Admissions Manager, Alpha - $200,000/year USD

Overview This is a salaried, full-time, on-site Admissions Manager role responsible for the complete enrollment experience at a campus location. You will oversee the enrollment journey from initial inquiry to onboarding, evaluate compatibility, facilitate discussions, and advise against enrollment when warranted. The position emphasizes selective enrollment with focus on strategic alignment rather than headcount. Responsibilities Oversee the complete enrollment pathway for prospective families, from first outreach to final onboarding. Facilitate exploratory discussions to assess compatibility and provide informed recommendations. Track 20+ concurrent family engagements across enrollment stages, maintain transparent status updates, and follow up in a timely manner. Conduct campus visits, student shadowing sessions, and enrollment consultations that articulate results, standards, and ideal candidate profiles. Update CRM platforms and student information systems (HubSpot and SIS) with precision to enable forecasting, task prioritization, and service excellence. What You Won’t Be Doing Deploying transactional or aggressive conversion strategies. Accepting families who represent a poor fit merely to meet enrollment targets. Supervising staff or navigating multi-tier authorization processes. Distributing responsibility for family engagement across several team members. Performing duties remotely; this role is campus-based. Admissions Manager – Key Responsibilities Direct and deliver a high-integrity, selective enrollment process that attracts aligned families while safeguarding academic rigor and operational success of the Alpha framework. Basic Requirements 3+ years providing elevated, individualized service in settings where service excellence shapes brand perception (education, upscale hospitality, executive assistance, exclusive membership, or independently operated client services). Proven experience managing a complete client, admissions, or enrollment cycle from initial inquiry to onboarding completion. Experience concurrently overseeing 20+ client, guest, or family relationships at varying progression points with reliable tracking methods. Ability to share specific instances of advisory decision-making, including occasions when you counseled against your offering due to misalignment. Professional correspondence experience with C-suite executives, high-net-worth clientele, or discerning audiences. Willingness to reside in or relocate within specified regions (La Jolla, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Marin County, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; Santa Monica, CA; or South Bay, CA). Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Nice-to-Have Requirements Background in competitive private school admissions or selective program enrollment management. Experience in upscale hospitality, VIP client relations, or executive-level support functions. Experience designing or enhancing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service benchmarks. Proficiency in using data and CRM analytics to elevate enrollment fit, not merely processing velocity.
