Job Details

Responsibilities

• Perform ordered CT exams across the assigned caseload, including emergent studies when assigned
• Administer oral and IV contrast per orders and facility protocol, monitoring patients during and after injection
• Operate CT equipment, selecting approved protocols and applying dose-optimization and ALARA radiation-safety standards
• Capture diagnostic-quality images and complete reconstructions per protocol, providing finished studies to radiologists

Travel CT Tech Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent CT Tech experience.
• Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by North Carolina and national regulatory bodies.

Atrium Health Lake Norman is a new Atrium Health hospital in Cornelius (opened 2025), a facility of Atrium Health University City, with surgery, imaging, and cardiovascular services on one campus.

• The OR has two operating rooms (one dedicated to cesarean deliveries) plus procedure rooms and intensive care.
• Imaging includes mobile MRI, CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and digital X-ray.
• Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute provides adult cardiovascular services on campus.
• Orthopedic care comes through the Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute.
