TK Health is hiring a Full-Time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team at the San Jacinto County Jail in Coldspring, Texas.

Correctional healthcare gives nurses the opportunity to use a broad range of clinical skills while caring for a diverse patient population. No two days are exactly the same, and you'll work alongside a healthcare team focused on providing quality, compassionate care in a secure environment.

Correctional nursing experience is not required. If you have a current Texas LVN license and a strong commitment to patient care, we can help you learn the correctional healthcare environment.

Day Shift

Rotating weekends

As an LVN with TK Health, you'll be an important part of the facility's healthcare team. Responsibilities may include:

• Providing nursing care within your scope of practice
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Performing patient assessments and monitoring changes in condition
• Assisting with sick call and ongoing patient care
• Maintaining accurate medical documentation
• Communicating with providers and other members of the healthcare team
• Responding appropriately to medical needs within the facility
• Helping ensure continuity and quality of care for our patients

What we're looking for:

• Current, unrestricted Texas LVN license
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependable and team-oriented
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
