We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist who wants to provide meaningful, individualized care and help patients regain the skills they need to return to their highest level of independence. Our therapy program is focused on direct, one-on-one patient care , functional treatment, and strong collaboration across disciplines. Our spacious patient rooms and large rehabilitation areas give OTs the ability to work on functional tasks in realistic environments rather than being limited to a small treatment space. Treatment may include: Dressing and grooming Toileting and bathroom mobility Transfers and functional mobility Upper-extremity strengthening and coordination Fine motor skills Balance and activity tolerance Cognitive and safety training Adaptive equipment training Energy conservation Home-management skills Patient and caregiver education Our large rehabilitation gym also provides room for more advanced balance, strengthening, endurance, and functional activities as patients progress. As their Occupational Therapist, you play a critical role in helping them regain the ability to complete everyday activities safely and independently. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with patients, understand what matters most to them, and develop treatment plans around meaningful functional goals. Whether that means helping someone dress independently again, safely complete a bathroom transfer, return to cooking, or prepare to go home, your work has an immediate and visible impact. What You’ll Do As an Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of functional limitations while developing individualized plans of care based on their needs and goals. Responsibilities include: Performing comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations Developing individualized treatment plans Providing direct, hands‑on therapeutic interventions Addressing ADLs, strength, coordination, balance, endurance, cognition, and safety Training patients in adaptive equipment and compensatory strategies Performing upper-extremity and functional rehabilitation Educating patients, families, and caregivers Monitoring progress and modifying treatment plans as needed Collaborating closely with PT, ST, nursing, physicians, and other healthcare professionals Preparing patients for safe transitions home or to their next level of care Who We’re Looking For We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who values clinical excellence, functional treatment, and meaningful patient relationships. Qualifications: Current or eligible California Occupational Therapist license Strong clinical reasoning and patient-care skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Compassionate, patient-centered approach Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team Interest in orthopedic, neurological, geriatric, and medically complex rehabilitation Experience in skilled nursing, acute rehabilitation, or other inpatient settings is preferred but not required. New graduates and therapists transitioning from outpatient, home health, acute care, or other rehabilitation settings are encouraged to apply.
