Restaurant Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities What You'll Do As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a key leadership role in the restaurant by: Supporting the General Manager in all day-to-day restaurant operations Leading shifts while ensuring outstanding guest service, food quality, and cleanliness Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and developing team members Coaching and mentoring Shift Managers and Crew Members to achieve performance goals Driving sales, labor, food cost, and profitability through strong operational execution Managing schedules to support business needs while controlling labor costs Maintaining inventory, ordering, and food safety standards Ensuring compliance with Wendy's operating procedures, health regulations, and company policies Handling guest concerns professionally and creating positive guest experiences Building a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture Stepping in to lead the restaurant whenever the General Manager is away Qualifications What We're Looking For 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume quick service or fast casual environment Previous General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience preferred Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience managing labor, food cost, and restaurant financial performance Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays High School Diploma or GED required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Why Join Wendy's?
