Gov Con Billing Specialist

Billing SpecialistFairfax, VASalary range: $85-90K / yearAddison Group's client is searching for a Billing Specialist (focused in Government Contracting) based in Fairfax, VA. This role is hybrid with a conversion salary in the 85-90K range.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit invoices in accordance with government contract terms (Cost-Plus, Fixed-Price, T&M).Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) guidelines, and other government regulations.Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve invoice issues.Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.Maintain detailed records for audits and financial reporting.Work with project managers, finance teams, and government agencies to ensure billing accuracy.Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting processes.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.2+ years of billing experience in the government contracting industry.Knowledge of FAR, DCAA compliance, and government invoicing portals (WAWF, IPP, etc.).Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, or other government accounting software.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Good communication and teamwork skills.Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
