Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Float Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years of MS/Tele Experience License: Active State License Required Certifications: BCLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Float Pool Experience Preferred - PCU/Step Down Experience Preferred - Telemetry Monitoring Required - No First-Time Travelers for Float - Strong IV Skills Required - Patient/Nurse Ratio: 1:6, flexing to 1:7 when necessary - EOW (Every Other Weekend) Required Description: Immediate opening for a Registered Nurse in the MS/Tele Float specialty. The position requires floating to various MS/Tele units as needed. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in MS/Tele nursing. Float pool experience is preferred, and PCU/Step Down experience is also a bonus. Telemetry monitoring is a crucial part of the role. Candidates should have primary IV skills, as specialty IV coverage is provided by RT. The patient/nurse ratio is typically 1:6, which may increase to 1:7 based on unit needs. Every other weekend coverage is required, with the ability to self-schedule. Block scheduling is also available. Local candidates are welcomed at the same rate. BCLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. Nursing skills must include effective management of various patient care procedures. Candidates should be comfortable working with adult patients, particularly those with medical, surgical, and cardiac diagnoses. The facility supports an interdisciplinary approach, including various healthcare services. This position does not require COVID-19 vaccination, but a flu vaccine is mandatory.
