Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patient needs and design personalized therapy plans to enable them to meet their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-supported methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living tasks
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure integrated, patient-focused care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance and instruction on therapy methods that support ongoing improvement outside of clinical settings
• Track Progress and Document Outcomes: Monitor patient advancement and modify treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring they progress towards their goals

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
• Encouragement for ongoing education or advanced certifications

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
