Come build what matters.In this position...Join Ford’s Global Supply Chain Systems organization to drive adoption of new business systems across employees and suppliers. You’ll lead communications, training, and enablement that prepare users for change, accelerate adoption, and reduce support demand.This role is ideal for someone with purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain experience who understands buyer workflows and can translate business requirements into effective system enablement. You’ll partner across IT, Learning & Development, Supply Chain, Finance, and global business teams to deliver launch readiness and adoption.What You’ll Do...Communications & EngagementDevelop communications for system launches, enhancements, and ongoing operations.Manage global audiences, distribution lists, and user communication channels.Prepare leadership updates, program status, risks, and reporting.Support broader engagement activities, including newsletters, podcasts, and campaigns.Training & EnablementDevelop training, job aids, and reference materials with subject matter experts.Deliver virtual and in-person training for buyers and global supply chain users.Validate readiness, track completion, and use support trends to address adoption barriers.Translate purchasing and system processes into clear, user-focused guidance.Purchasing & Supply Chain EnablementApply purchasing and sourcing knowledge to system releases, business process changes, and user enablement.Partner with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, and IT to align systems with business requirements.Support enablement for sourcing, supplier onboarding, purchase orders, and related purchasing processes.Identify opportunities to simplify workflows through digital tools, automation, and AI.Governance & CollaborationAlign cross-functional teams on launch timing, communications, training, and documentation.Ensure system changes are reflected in purchasing policies, procedures, and user materials.Represent the workstream in governance, readiness reviews, and stakeholder forums.Support additional programs and priorities as business needs evolve.What Success Looks LikeCommunications and training are accurate, timely, and reach the right audiences.Buyers and supply chain users confidently adopt new systems and processes.Repeat support inquiries decrease through stronger enablement and self-service.Leadership receives clear, timely visibility into readiness, adoption, risks, and support needs.Digital, automation, or AI improvements simplify workflows and increase efficiency.You'll have...Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering)3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, sourcing, communications, training, change management, or related business operations.Purchasing or sourcing experience with knowledge of buyer workflows, sourcing processes, supplier engagement, and purchase order management.AI and automation and their application to business processes.Experience with enterprise procurement, supply chain, or ERP systems such as SAP or Ariba.Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Even better, you may have...Experience as a production, program, or commodity buyer, including sourcing, supplier onboarding, or program purchasing.Knowledge of end-to-end sourcing and purchasing processes, including cost studies, supplier cost analysis, or business case development.Experience with tools such as Ariba, Sourcing Workplan Tool (SWT), Power BI, or Qlik Sense.Broader Supply Chain experience across Supplier Technical Assistance, Materials Planning & Logistics, Product Development, Finance, or related Purchasing functions.You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice.
