Regional IFM Lead

Job Summary We are seeking a Regional IFM Lead to serve as Operations Lead – Workplace Services for the WPP global client account in the Technology Division. The role will be based in Kansas City, Chicago or Detroit and will work hybrid, Monday‑Friday, 8:30AM‑5:30PM. Travel (25%) will be required to client sites. Estimated base salary: $123,000 – $150,700 per year. Responsibilities Act as senior operational subject‑matter expert for a portfolio of site‑based campus facilities managers, providing technical guidance and mentorship to implement the global Operating Model. Validate and manage the NORAM financial budget baseline, develop site budgets, identify cost‑optimization opportunities, and ensure adherence to the GMP commercial model. Manage baseline adjustments via the formal Change Control Notice process, providing cost impact analysis and recommendations. Offer technical expertise on BMS, PPM schedules, asset management, and EHS standards, supporting audits and compliance. Lead phased transition of services from Managing Agent to Principal model across NORAM sites, ensuring seamless handoffs. Plan and lead complex regional initiatives, resolving operational issues to deliver integrated facilities management services. Champion JLL’s technology stack (Corrigo, Azara AI) to analyze data, identify performance trends, and recommend innovations. Cultivate a positive team culture, creating a talent pipeline for Facility Manager and Senior Facility Manager roles. Collaborate with stakeholders, including regional Workplace Experience and Engineering leads, to deliver integrated service delivery. Navigate organizational tensions between client leadership, employee demands, and cost‑reduction imperatives, acting as a bridge‑builder. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of progressive experience in integrated facilities management or corporate real‑estate within a multi‑site portfolio. Advanced knowledge of IFM principles, vendor management, and operational best practices in client‑focused environments. Strong financial acumen with budget oversight, financial analysis, and cost‑control strategy experience. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder influence skills. Ability to work independently, manage complex activities with minimal supervision, and exercise independent judgment. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of comprehensive IFM experience, preferably in a global account model for a creative or technology client. Experience with Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) or similar at‑risk commercial structures. Experience leading large‑scale projects or programs (e.g., new service model implementations, technology rollouts). High proficiency with CMMS platforms (e.g., Corrigo) and BI/analytics tools. Industry certifications: CFM, FMP, PMP, or relevant EHS certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, CSP). Experience mentoring operational teams without direct supervisory authority.
