Responsibilities- Prepare and chop vegetables, fruits, and proteins as per the menu specifications.
- Assist in the cooking process by monitoring food items and ensuring proper cooking times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations and kitchen equipment.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and standards set by the head chef.
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain sanitation throughout the kitchen.
- Stock and restock supplies as necessary and report any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during peak times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to follow directions and maintain consistency in food preparation.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
