You will ensure a high standard of care through leadership, training, clinical oversight, and hands-on support. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise medication technicians and caregiving staff, ensuringaccurateshift handoffs andtimelydocumentation. Oversee andmaintainaccurate, complete, and confidential records related to medications, treatments, and resident care. Assistwith resident admissions, discharges, and transfers; compile and manage medical charts. Lead implementation of infection control policies, including COVID-19 protocols, visitation guidelines, and staff compliance measures. Coordinate andmonitorresident medical appointments and transportationlogistics. Triage residentsexperiencinghealth changes or urgent needs and provide immediate clinical support. Addressresidentand family concerns with professionalism and compassion. Communicate changes in resident status to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations of wellness staff. Develop and lead training sessions, in-services, and mentoring programs to promote best practices. Maintain medical supply inventory and ensuretimelyordering and stocking. Conduct regular audits of documentation and systems to ensure compliance and quality improvement. Provide medication and caregiving support as needed, including administering medications, triaging incidents, and updating care plans. Uphold infection control procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Perform other duties as assigned to support department operations and resident care. JOB DETAILS Pay Rate: $51.64/hr Hours: AM shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM; PM: 3 PM - 11:30 PM ; NOC: 11 PM - 7:30 AM Days: Varies Unit: Assisted Living REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Current and active State of California LVN or RN licenserequired. Minimum of two (2) years of recent LVN nursing experience and/or two (2) years of experience in assisted living as a Medication Technician or Caregiver in a similar community. New RN graduates may be considered. Previoussupervisory or management experiencestronglypreferred. Experience in assisted living preferred. High school diploma or GEDrequired;coursework in medical terminology or health services preferred. Current CPR/First Aid certificationrequired. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to delegate, lead a team, and manage multiple priorities effectively. Knowledge of elderly care standards, infection control practices, and universal precautions. Demonstrated compassion for older adults and commitment to providing high-quality care. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand, walk, bend, and provide hands-on clinical support for extended periods. Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residentsin accordance withsafe body mechanics. Ability to respond promptly to medical emergencies. Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
