Responsibilities
- Clear snow by hand from walkways, steps, building entrances, and areas not accessible by equipment
- Apply ice-melt and salt to maintain safe surfaces for pedestrians and vehicles
- Operate plow trucks or skid-steers to clear snow from commercial lots, driveways, and roadways (for qualified operators)
- Respond promptly to snow events, including early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure thorough and efficient snow removal
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to respond quickly when a storm occurs
- Comfortable working outdoors in cold and snowy conditions
- Physically able to lift and shovel snow repeatedly during a shift
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license required for equipment operator roles
- Experience operating plow trucks or heavy equipment required for operator positions; entry-level roles require no prior experience
