Senior Python Developer (Crypto/FinTech)

Location: Remote Salary Range: up to $140K-$150K Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary:

We're seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a backend focus to help maintain and evolve a Django-based trading platform. You'll be responsible for designing secure APIs, integrating with KYC/compliance systems, and building infrastructure for high-volume crypto transactions. This is a full-time, remote role requiring availability from 9am–6pm CT.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Django applications and backend systems
• Develop REST APIs and integrate with third-party tools (e.g., KYC providers)
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases and ensure scalability
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on end-to-end product delivery
• Contribute to secure, real-time, and regulation-compliant financial flows

Requirements:

• 5+ years Django experience (complex apps)
• PostgreSQL schema and performance optimization experience
• RESTful API development and third-party API integration
• Understanding of backend infrastructure (Docker, devops basics)
• Familiarity with frontend stack (React)

Preferred:

• Experience with Django Ninja and Pydantic
• Crypto, digital asset, or FinTech industry experience
• KYC/AML or regulatory compliance awareness
