Automotive Service TechnicianAs an Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and dealership quality expectations. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.A short list of your tasks and responsibilities:Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, and HVAC systemsAccurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using dealership diagnostic tools and softwareComplete routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, multi-point inspections, etc.)Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership repair processesDocument work performed accurately on repair ordersCommunicate findings and recommendations clearly to the Service AdvisorMaintain a clean, safe, and organized workstationParticipate in ongoing training to stay current with automotive technologyComply with all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and dealership policiesWe're looking for a self-starter who meets the following qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredAutomotive Technical School certification preferred2+ years of experience as an automotive technician (dealership experience a plus)Valid driver's license with a clean driving recordASE certification(s) preferred (or willingness to obtain)OEM certification a plus (if applicable)Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsProficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair toolsWorking knowledge of modern vehicle systems and technologyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong time management and organizational skillsAttention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipCustomer-focused mindsetAbility to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workdayAbility to lift up to 50 poundsComfortable working in a shop environmentHere's how we take care of you (and your loved ones):Medical, dental, and vision benefitsVoluntary benefits availableRelocation AssistancePaid time off upon hirePaid company holidays401(k) with employer matchGrowth potentialAutomotive discountsIf you are qualified, you will be considered for this position: An Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer M/F/D/V.
