Responsibilities Provide therapeutic psychological counseling. Assess a patient's psychological status and provide appropriate interventions and treatments. Collaborate with psychiatrists and other team members to provide appropriate psychological therapy for patients. Refer patients to other disciplines for consultation and evaluations as indicated. Provide psychological expertise and education to patients, families, and supporting providers involved in patient treatment plan. Partner with other disciplines as a resource. Communicate complex/sensitive information to patients and medical team. Administer and interpret psychological tests used for diagnosing mental and personality disorders and differentiating between organic and functional cases of behavior disorders. #J-18808-Ljbffr Comcast
