Manufacturing And Carpentry RoleThis role involves operating CNC machinery and woodworking equipment to fabricate precision components based on CAD, Revit drawings, and production specifications. The position is responsible for preparing materials, setting up and running machines, and ensuring finished products meet exact quality and dimensional standards through inspection and measurement. It is a hands-on manufacturing and carpentry role that requires technical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.*This is a second shift position*Safety is our highest priority. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid disability and life insurance, wellness incentives, paid holidays, PTO, flexible spending accounts, HSA options, a 401(k) with profit sharing, access to Nice Healthcare, employee assistance resources, pet insurance, and additional voluntary coverage such as critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity plans.Health and family care leave is available to both union and non-union employees.Union employee benefits are provided through separate collective bargaining agreementsWhat you'll doRead and interpret CAD, Revit drawings, and pour sheets to understand project specificationsProgram and operate CNC machines to perform cutting, drilling, milling, grinding, and related fabrication tasksTranslate technical instructions into machine commands to ensure accurate production executionPrepare, load, and stage raw materials and components for CNC machining operationsConduct test runs and adjust machine settings to ensure output meets required specificationsOperate CNC machines through full production cycles to fabricate parts efficiently and consistentlyMonitor machine performance during operation and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality standardsInspect, measure, and verify finished products to ensure compliance with drawings and tolerancesSafely operate woodworking equipment such as table saws, band saws, miter saws, and pneumatic tools to build forms and bulkheadsMaintain machinery, follow all safety procedures, uphold housekeeping standards, and complete additional assigned dutiesWho we're looking forWe are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented candidate with carpentry experience and a willingness to learn CNC machine operation in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal individual has strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and the ability to read tape measures and interpret drawings while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. This person is self-driven, collaborative, and adaptable, with the ability to solve problems quickly and contribute effectively to team-based project completion.Ideal candidates will haveHigh School Diploma or GED required; technical training or carpentry experience preferredKnowledge of or willingness to learn CNC machine operation and woodworking equipmentForklift experience preferred, with ability to safely handle and move materialsStrong understanding of safety procedures and commitment to maintaining a safe work environmentWorking conditions/physical requirementsAbility to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm useCapable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hoursComfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequentlyAbility to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazardsWillingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (depending on location)Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.This profile summarizes key duties and expectations but does not list every possible job task.
