IT Support Specialist

Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via phone, email, chat, and ticketing system Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for end users Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices Assist with onboarding new employees, including account creation and equipment setup Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 support teams with thorough documentation Maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions, and asset inventory Follow IT policies, procedures, and security best practices Provide a positive support experience with clear, friendly communication Requirements Basic understanding of Windows and/or macOS operating systems Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Remote Support Tools: Proficiency in using remote support tools to assist users Experience with ticketing systems Basic knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP) Prior customer service or technical support experience Software development skills: Basic knowledge of software development principles and ability to contribute to the creation of new applications and tools Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred 3+ years of experience in IT Support, or similar role #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
