TEKsystems Global Services – Lead Accountant The Accounting Lead – Global Services is responsible for leading the month‑end close and accounting activities supporting TEKsystems Global Services (GS). This role serves as the primary coordinator for GS close activities across multiple legal entities and international operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and well‑supported financial results. This position acts as the operational owner of GS accounting processes, including revenue and cost accruals, intercompany activity, funding requests, treasury coordination, international close dependencies, and GS reporting deliverables. The role partners closely with Accounting, Financial Reporting, Treasury, Operational Leadership, and international teams to support a disciplined and efficient close process. The ideal candidate is highly organized, process‑oriented, and comfortable operating in a complex environment with multiple entities, currencies, and stakeholders. The individual must be able to balance execution, problem‑solving, and team leadership while continuously identifying opportunities to improve processes and strengthen controls. Responsibilities Essential Functions: Lead execution of the Global Services month‑end close process across multiple domestic and international entities Manage GS close timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure an accurate and timely close Coordinate GS preliminary and final close activities, including communication with accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and operational leaders Prepare and review GS‑specific journal entries, accruals, allocations, reclasses, and cost movement activities Own GS intercompany accounting processes and settlement activities Coordinate treasury‑related activities including funding requests, intercompany settlements, and international cash requirements Support international operations by coordinating close activities related to Canada, India, Philippines, EMEA, and other GS entities Prepare, review, and distribute GS reporting outputs, including revenue reporting, gross receipts, operating results, and management reporting packages Perform analysis of GS financial results and communicate significant variances and trends to leadership Monitor and resolve operational accounting issues impacting GS financial results Partner with Accounting to support reconciliations, eliminations, and cross‑entity accounting processes Collaborate with Financial Reporting to ensure reporting outputs are complete and accurate Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and efficiency enhancements Maintain appropriate documentation and support for internal and external audit requests Train, coach, and develop accounting team members supporting GS activities Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned Qualifications Requisite Abilities and/or Skills: Strong understanding of financial close processes, accounting operations, and intercompany activities Ability to manage complex workflows across multiple entities and international locations Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to build strong working relationships across departments and levels of leadership Strong process orientation with a continuous improvement mindset Ability to lead, develop, and hold team members accountable Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems Experience supporting international operations and multiple legal entities preferred Minimum Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting, financial operations, or close‑related experience Experience working with multiple legal entities, intercompany activity, and month‑end close processes Prior leadership, supervisory, or project leadership experience preferred CPA or progress toward CPA preferred but not required The company is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regard to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any characteristic protected by law. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
