H5 Data Centers Project Manager Coordinator Job Description  

Position Summary 

Ensure the effective and economical use of H5 Data Center’s business resources, and to 

support the financial requirements of construction and project management at the H5 Data Center Facilities. Share with project management team the computerized tracking tools necessary to manage the schedule for the different construction projects. Assist project management team on providing the purchasing function and track all expenditures for facility construction projects. Work with partners to ensure the proper documentation associated with the construction projects are timely shared with them. This position works closely with the Project Management team to assist in tracking equipment lead time, receiving them and process invoicing for facility construction projects.

This position reports to the SVP of Operations. 

Essential Job Functions 

1. Provides assistance on construction purchasing and tracking. 
2. Assists on invoice tracking, management, and budgeting support. 
3. Coordinates with outside vendors as required. 
4. Provides feedback regarding contract management and guidance. 
5. Prepare and delivery to partners the necessary documentation related to construction projects.
6. Manages construction equipment lead time and receiving.
7. Evaluates and makes recommendations on project management tools and process. 
8. Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices. 

Qualifications 

Education: 

1. One year experience in a data center facility. 
2. Two years College. 
3. Experience in project management programs a plus. 

Skills and Abilities

1. Requires understanding and principal working knowledge of facility support systems. 
2. Requires understanding and principal working knowledge of Security environments and receiving into the facility. 
3. Good communication skills in dealing with employees and vendors. 
4. Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 30 lbs. 
5. Familiar with use of all Microsoft Office products.
6. Familiar with project management concepts is a plus.
