Quality Control RepresentativeAs a Quality Control Representative working for Taylor Morrison you will ensure the construction of our homes are implemented, audited, maintained and exceed Taylor Morrison's high safety and quality expectations.We trust that as a Quality Control Representative you will:Perform jobsite inspections throughout division, organize and distribute to each jobsitePerform Monthly Jobsite safety Audits along with management. Organize, record and distribute to each jobsiteParticipate in new community startup meetings with trade partners going over safety expectations as well as quality expectationsBe familiar with the Taylor Morrison/Darling Safety Programs and assist builders with the proper implantation of the safety programPerform quality inspections on homes, compile reports, and re-walk the home as scheduled.Perform monthly model quality walks and send to the Builder and Sales representative in each communityWork with trade partners regarding trends in deficiencies and trade issues in both safety and qualityBe proficient in data entry into the BuildPro Warranty and Inspection SystemShould the need arise for you to help in the warranty department, demonstrate the highest st level of knowledge and customer satisfaction as a contact for our customers when they have warranty issuesDemonstrate an understanding of the Taylor Morrison Warranty Program and Homeowner Maintenance requirementsProvide a high level of service to our customers and service representatives using guidelines established in Taylor Morrison's One-year Warranty ProgramUtilize Build-Pro to assist superintendents and sub-contractors with information retrievalAttend an OSHA 10-Hour Instruction CourseYou are willing to perform other duties as assignedWhat you will need: (competencies, behaviors & attributes)Reasoning/ConceptualizationEthics & IntegrityLeadershipRespectfulSense of UrgencyStrategic ThinkingAbout you: (requirements)High School Graduate and have a minimum of 3 years of current or recent experience in a customer service related position with 1-2 years experience in residential constructionExcellent communication skills and ability to ensure customer satisfactionComputer skills and ability to adapt to company systemsPossess time management skillsMust be highly organized and detail orientedProblem solving abilityAbility to multi-task and remain focusedSalary Range: $26.81-38.91Bonus Eligible: Up to 20% ConstructionAuto Allowance: $6,000 yearlyWill have responsibilities such as:This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.Essential Functions:Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to scheduleAbility to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic deviceAbility to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher level managerAbility to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as neededAbility to operate a motor vehicle if applicableComply with company policies and procedurePhysical Demands:Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the timeThe ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsBenefits of Working With Taylor MorrisonWe are looking for dedicated professionals that share our values of putting the customer - and their needs - first.
