Shift Information

This position is for a day shift comprising three 12-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday, starting at 07:00 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified candidate with experience in CT imaging to join our team. This role requires proficiency in performing various CT examinations, both with and without contrast, in a challenging and dynamic environment that encompasses different patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years required
• Patient Ratio Experience: Knowledge and experience with patient ratios required
• Charting System Experience: Familiarity with Epic preferred
• Community Hospital Experience: Preferred
• LTAC Experience: Preferred
• Trauma Level I Experience: Preferred
• Trauma Level II Experience: Preferred
• Certifications: ARRT in CT, ARRT Radiography, BLS, and Fluoroscopy Permit are required

Key Skills

• Abdomen CT exams with and without contrast
• Adult Acute Care
• Emergency Department experience
• Fluoroscopy Studies and Enema Studies
• ICU experience
• Preparation and administration of contrast media
• Radiation Safety and Radiation Therapy Planning
• Starting Peripheral IVs and Venipuncture
• Experience with Trauma Care (Level I and Level II)
• Utilization of PACS
• CT arthrography, Carotid, Chest, and other specialized imaging techniques

Unit and Facility Details

• Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Daily Caseload: Approximately 20 patients
• Number of Rooms: 3
• Interdisciplinary Support: Includes Radiology, Lift Teams, Rapid Response Teams, and Transportation

Additional Information

Candidates should expect to float between sister facilities as required. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.
