As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager at Hotel 43, you’ll take the lead in keeping our hotel spotless and welcoming — guiding your team, setting high standards, and making sure every corner reflects care and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

•Support the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily operations of the housekeeping department.

•Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping team members to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction standards are met.

•Assist in scheduling, training, and evaluating housekeeping staff.

•Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure quality and cleanliness.

•Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and assist with ordering as needed.

•Ensure safe handling and proper labeling of all cleaning chemicals according to hotel policies.

•Respond to guest requests and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

•Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.

•Maintain security and confidentiality of all guest and hotel information.

•Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to those in housekeeping, inspecting, and house attending.

• Previous experience in housekeeping, including supervisory or leadership roles, preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and hospitality standards.
• Proficiency with hotel communication systems and basic office software is a plus.
• Must work weekends & have schedule flexibility, as schedule is subject to change based on business needs.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and move quickly in response to operational needs.
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals while using appropriate protective equipment.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, ozone generators, dishwashers, etc.
