Job Details Job Location: Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 Salary Range: $25.00 - $27.00 Hourly All employees receive a FREE POOL PASS and other on-property discounts. Starting at $25.00/hour Primary Function Assist both the Food and Beverage Manager and Assistant Food and Beverage Manager in operating GHS Food Services as a safe, healthy, customer oriented GHS profit center that is a desirable place for our employees to work and our guests to visit Reporting and Accountability The Food and Beverage Supervisor reports to, and is accountable to the Food and Beverage Manager as well as the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. The Food and Beverage Supervisor represents the authority of the Food and Beverage Department when functioning as “the manager on duty.” The Food and Beverage Supervisor has the support and authority necessary to carry out the responsibilities and tasks described in this job description and other responsibilities of the Food and beverage department, as delegated by the Food and Beverage Manager and Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. Authority The Food and Beverage Supervisor has the support and authority necessary to carry out the responsibilities and tasks described in this job description and other responsibilities of the Food and Beverage service department, as delegated by the Food and Beverage Manager and Food and Beverage Supervisor. Physical Requirements Adequate physical agility to perform the physical tasks required to help support the operation of the Food and Beverage Department. Ability to pull, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and to read and give instructions. Ability to twist, bend, climb, stoop, kneel and stand for up to 8 hours. Ability to reach and crawl. Educational Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Other Requirements At least two years of experience in restaurant/food service management, including ability to perform all Grill tasks proficiently. Leadership and people management skills. Bottom line, guest satisfaction and profit oriented, “get it done” attitude. Broad knowledge of all Grill management, administrative and operational responsibilities and tasks, and Grill utensils and equipment. Computer software (data input) skills. Work Hours and Days The Food and Beverage Supervisor’s work hours and days are variable and must be adaptable to seasonal and other variations in Food and Beverage hours, number of customers, and available Food and Beverage staffing levels.
