Machinist 1st Shift

Job Overview The Donora Service Center is seeking a qualified manual machinist. The position requires off‑shift availability, including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Occasional voluntary domestic travel to other Elliott locations may be required. Responsibilities Perform layout, set‑up, and manual machining for subassembly processes. Set tools, deburr parts, broach keyways, and perform dimension checks. Handle movement of parts, materials, and assemblies. Machining of rotors, diaphragms, seals, disks, casings, and grinding of shafts. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in manual machining or related field (less experience may be considered). Proficiency with horizontal lathes, vertical lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses. CNC machining experience preferred, but not required. High school diploma, GED, or trade school experience desired, but not required. Willingness and availability to work off‑shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
