In this role, you will be working as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for a client in the Manufacturing Industry. This position will be responsible for mechanical designs that meet cost and schedule objectives and customer requirements.
This position is a contract to possible hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.

Requirements
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years experience
- Ability to do 3D design - Experience with Inventor and NX preferred
- Experience with equipment or sheet metal knowledge is preferred
- Experience with attending job kick-off meetings and participating in design reviews with customers
- Prepare and update task lists
- Track schedules and budgets
- Review and approve drawings
- Interface with other departments to resolve questions and technical issues
