General Dentist

About the Role University Dental Associates seeks a General Dentist to provide comprehensive clinical care including exams, cleanings, restorative and cosmetic procedures. The dentist will diagnose and treat oral health conditions, develop treatment plans, and educate patients on preventative care. Working in a patient-focused, professional environment, you’ll collaborate with hygienists and assistants, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental exams, cleanings, and diagnostic evaluations Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions using restorative and cosmetic procedures Develop and explain individualized treatment plans to patients Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventative care, and post-treatment instructions Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and front office staff to ensure efficient patient flow Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records Adhere to infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols Use dental technologies and radiographic imaging to support diagnosis and treatment Participate in continuing education to maintain and enhance clinical skills Support a patient-focused culture emphasizing quality care and long-term relationships Restorative dentistry (fillings, crowns, bridges) Preventive dentistry and prophylaxis planning Diagnostic skills and treatment planning Digital radiography and imaging interpretation Local anesthesia administration Infection control and sterilization procedures Endodontic and simple extraction techniques Dental charting and electronic health records Patient education and communication Cosmetic dentistry procedures (whitening, veneers) Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Qualifications Active DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school Current state dental license in good standing Current DEA registration for prescription authority CPR/BLS certification Malpractice insurance eligibility Experience with digital radiography and practice management software preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr ACHE
