POSITION SUMMARY:

The Apartment Manager supports the CHS mission by providing effective tenant relations, property maintenance, and assisting with program eligibility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As the primary point of contact, assists tenants by responding to tenant inquiries and concerns.
• Assists the Operations Coordinator by managing the recertification process and lease management.
• Ensures property is well-maintained by regular property inspections, maintaining common areas, and coordinating make-ready procedures.
• Fosters a positive, safe environment for residents by ensuring the property complies with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Accepts and carries out special assignments or duties when requested.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Travel by personal vehicle as needed.
• Prolonged periods of working at a computer.
• Must be able to lift 10 pounds at times and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 1+ year of experience as an apartment manager
• 1+ year of experience as a property manager

SHIFT: PTI (15 hrs./week) Monday-Friday TBD

• Free Rent/Utilities in lieu of wages
• $15.00/hr. If more than 15 hrs. worked a week
