Additional Information

\n

We are seeking an ABOG board?certified or board?eligible Ob/Gyn physician for 24?hour in?hospital Ob/Gyn hospitalist call. This is a temporary per diem position for 6 months with hotel, travel and meals paid for the 6-month duration, with potential for contract renewal and/or permanent placement after one year.

• No in?basket duties
\n
• Physician does not need to live in the surrounding area
\n
• Collaborative practice with Kaiser Permanente Ob/Gyn physicians (on?call and outpatient teams)
\n

Schedule

\n

\n
• Minimum: One 24?hour shift per week
\n
• Maximum: Up to four 24?hour shifts per week
\n

\n

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Manage patients on Labor & Delivery and in the OB Emergency Room (triage)
\n
• See obstetric and gynecologic consults from the hospital and emergency room
\n
• Perform obstetrical and gynecologic emergency surgeries
\n
• Manage antepartum and postpartum services
\n
• Average delivery volume: ~120 births per month
\n

• EMR: Cerner (converting to EPIC in August 2026)
\n
• In?house anesthesia
\n
• Level II NICU
\n

\n

Requirements

• Active California medical license
\n
• ABOG board certification or board eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology
\n
• Completion of Obstetrics & Gynecology residency
\n
