Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Per Diem)

Exciting Per Diem NNP opportunity to join Pediatrix Medical Group at United Regional Healthcare System in Wichita Falls! United Regional Health System serves Wichita Falls, TX, and surrounding communities. It is a Level II Special Care Nursery facility that cares for infants who are 30 weeks or longer gestational age and weigh more than 1,250 grams with physiologic immaturity or other conditions that resolve rapidly. Our neonatal team collaborates with pediatricians, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation services, and neonatal nutritionists to provide comprehensive care while keeping families close to their newborns. Responsibilities Cover Level II NICU and newborn nursery shifts, including 24‑hour in‑house coverage. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to care for premature and critically ill newborns. Provide family‑centered care and support parents throughout the infant’s NICU stay, fostering strong communication. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects aimed at advancing neonatal care. Operate within an advanced technology NICU facility and a supportive work environment. Qualifications Current APRN national specialty certification. Master’s degree or higher. Active Texas or Compact state license.
