About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key legal leader and advisor, providing strategic and practical legal support across various functions, including information technology, technology and engineering, commercial contracts, compliance program management, policy development, intellectual property oversight, and marketing. This role requires a professional with a proven track record of working with senior leadership, a bias for action, and the ability to build trusting and effective relationships. The Senior Corporate Counsel will be responsible for advising on legal issues related to technology development, IT operations, SaaS, cloud services, data privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and digital transformation initiatives. They will also be involved in reviewing and negotiating technology agreements, complex commercial agreements, and ensuring compliance with public company obligations and regulatory requirements. Applicants for the Senior Corporate Counsel position at the company should have a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school, active bar membership, and at least 10 years of legal experience, with a strong preference for those with significant public company and/or in-house experience. The role demands a professional with a collaborative working style, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Experience in technology law, privacy, data security, the telecom industry, and/or wireless spectrum transactions is required. The ideal candidate will have a broad legal skill set, be open to new challenges, and have a demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic business environment. High integrity, dependability, and a relentless focus on results are essential, as is the ability to summarize key legal and business issues for fast-paced decision-making.
