Job Description: Truck Driver (53 ft Dry Van) Location: Plano, TX Department: Logistics & Warehouse Operations Reports To: Logistics Manager Position Summary The Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a 53 ft dry van to complete scheduled inventory transfers between our Dallas-area warehouse locations. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient internal logistics, supporting inventory accuracy, and ensuring the timely movement of goods across facilities. Key Responsibilities Operate a 53 ft dry van to transport inventory between company warehouses in the Dallas area. Follow established transfer schedules to ensure on-time delivery and pickup. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Secure loads properly and verify documentation for all inventory transfers. Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and required DOT documentation. Communicate with warehouse teams to coordinate loading, unloading, and route timing. Report any mechanical issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly. Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations. Qualifications Valid CDL (Class A) with a clean driving record. Minimum 2 years of experience operating a 53 ft dry van or similar equipment. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practices. Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience in warehouse or logistics environments preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods while driving. Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs as needed during loading/unloading.
