How you'll contribute

An MRI Technologist who excels in this role:

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
• When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice.
• Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
• Prepares equipment and supplies.
• Will work at Highpoint Health Sumner and Sumner Station ER

What we're looking for Education: Graduated from an ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB accredited program in Radiologic Technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine required. Associate's degree preferred.

Experience: 1 year in Radiologic technology, Radiation Therapy, MR, Nuclear Medicine, or CT procedures preferred.

Certifications: Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) required; ARRT, JRCERT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB registry in Radiology, Radiation Therapy, MR, or Nuclear Medicine Registry required. ARRT Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) required (within 1 year hire/transfer
