Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Recent Emergency Room experience - Required certifications in hand - Charting experience with EPIC Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS. The nurse must be proficient in charting using EPIC. A valid nursing license is required. Weekend coverage is necessary, with every other weekend required. The unit features a diverse patient demographic, including adolescents, adults, and pediatrics. The Emergency Room operates in a community-based hospital setting. The emergency services department includes a total of 79 beds, with specific areas dedicated to different patient populations. Interdisciplinary support is available from various healthcare teams. This role involves managing critical emergencies and providing care to various patient cases, from traumatic injuries to medical emergencies. Candidates should be adept in various emergency procedures and possess skills related to the management of critical care scenarios. Previous experience in a high-acuity environment is preferred.
