The position functions in a cooperative effort to provide quality control and assurance to the operational departments involved in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned.Conduct routine environmental and systems monitoring of manufacturing and laboratory areas.Conduct general laboratory experimentation in compliance with the instructions provided in approved SOP's to determine appropriate action.Follow policies and assists in the development of new procedures and/or documents.Maintain records of experiments performed and results obtained including appropriate calculations.Assist in the interpretation of data as require and conduct accurate and precise experimentation and complete documentation of results.Assist in the preparation of data for presentations.Maintain a level of technical knowledge and understanding in the assigned areas of responsibility consistent with the scientific requirements of the company.Supervisory Responsibilities:This person has no direct supervisor responsibilities.Interaction:The incumbent works closely with members of the departmental team.Education and Experience:No previous experience in pharmaceutical microbiology requiredBS degree in Microbiology or other life science from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This role is classified as non-exempt and eligible for over-time. The range is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role. The range considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: geographic markets, business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications.
