Extrusion Technician

Location: Wall, NJ
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Technician to operate and troubleshoot extrusion equipment used in the manufacturing process. Candidates should have manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

* Set up, operate, and troubleshoot extrusion equipment
* Monitor production processes and equipment performance
* Perform inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
* Complete production records and documentation
* Follow quality, safety, and GMP standards
* Assist with equipment cleaning and maintenance
* Work closely with production and quality teams

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED required
* Previous extrusion operator experience preferred
* Manufacturing experience required
* Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
* Ability to read and follow work instructions
* Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Physical Requirements

* Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally
* Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
* Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment
