About the Role:
Join A Z HOME HEALTH CARE INC as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the Flint area, where youll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients. We are dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care, making a difference in the community every day.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and home care techniques.
• Document patient care and progress in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain and clean equipment used in therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide support to patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all patients.

Requirements:

• Current PTA license in the state of Michigan.
• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Previous experience in a home health setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required.
• Reliable transportation for travel to patient homes.
