The ideal candidate will possess over a decade of experience in designing, developing, and implementing complex software systems. As a key member of our technology team, you will lead architectural decisions, ensure the scalability and reliability of our applications, and mentor junior developers to achieve excellence. Mandatory skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of professional experience in Java development. Proven experience as a Java Architect or similar role, leading architectural design and implementation. Extensive experience withAWSorAzurecloud platforms, including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS (for AWS) or VM Instances, Blob Storage, Functions, SQL Database (for Azure). Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate). In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Proficient in database design and management (SQL and NoSQL databases). Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation). Certifications: Relevant certifications are a plus, such as: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE Key Responsibilities: Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the architecture of scalable, high-performance Java-based applications. Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance application functionality and performance. Develop architectural blueprints and documentation to guide development teams. Cloud Integration: Architect and implement solutions leveragingAWSorAzureservices. Ensure seamless integration of cloud services with existing on-premises systems. Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and security. Development Oversight: Lead and participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. Establish coding standards and best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to development teams. Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, DevOps, QA, and Business Analysts, to deliver robust solutions. Communicate architectural decisions and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Mentorship & Training: Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Conduct training sessions and workshops on Java development and cloud technologies. Performance & Security: Implement performance tuning and optimization techniques to ensure applications meet performance benchmarks.
