Mobile X-Ray Technologist (ARRT)
Medstaff Group is currently seeking a dependable and experienced Mobile X-Ray Technologist for a full-time opportunity serving healthcare facilities throughout Queens, NY. This role offers a consistent schedule, competitive compensation, and the ability to work independently while providing essential diagnostic imaging services directly to patients.
Responsibilities
- Travel throughout Queens to perform portable X-ray examinations at nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare settings.
- Safely operate portable digital radiology equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Position patients appropriately and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Adhere to all radiation safety standards and infection control protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete all required reports.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care while representing Medstaff Group with excellence.
Qualifications
- ARRT Certification required.
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
- Experience with portable/mobile X-ray preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily travel schedule.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must meet all state vaccination requirements.
