Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Kentucky special education teacher license (required)

• Compassion, patience, and enthusiasm for working with learners with unique challenges
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement individualized education programs for students with special needs in accordance with IEP goals
• Deliver engaging instruction that aligns with each student’s learning style and specific requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and other educators to support student achievement
• Maintain consistent communication regarding student progress and share strategies for continued growth
• Manage documentation and maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
