Internal Medicine Physician

Position Overview Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock (BHMC‑NLR), Arkansas, in conjunction with Arkansas Health Group (AHG) is hiring two board eligible/board certified internal medicine physicians to join the Baptist Health Internal Medicine Clinic. This clinic is part of the 150,000 sq‑ft GME building on the campus of BHMC‑NLR and serves residents of the Internal Medicine Residency program that began in July 2019 with 12 interns. Responsibilities Provide general internal medicine care to patients at the clinic. Perform pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and interpret chest x‑rays. Proctor internal medicine residents and contribute to their education and training. Use EPIC electronic medical record system for all clinical documentation. Qualifications Board eligible or board certified MD or DO in internal medicine. Must be able to obtain Arkansas medical licensure before starting practice. Experience in residency education or interest in teaching is preferred. Ability to work with the EPIC EMR system.
