Job Description

Olsson provides construction management, administration, and observation services for various types of projects to assure that work is performed in conformance with project documents. Our construction services include daily observation / inspection, project documentation, submittal review, design support, shop drawing review, payment application review, payroll review, and oversight for materials testing. We provide technically qualified personnel for our clients' specific project requirements.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Team Leader to lead our ever-growing team of Construction Administration and Management (CAM) personnel across our firm's footprint. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background or understanding of all aspects of project construction across a variety of markets including transportation (roadway, bridge, aviation, and rail), water infrastructure, telecommunications, industrial manufacturing, and vertical construction. The team is comprised of field inspectors, construction administrators, construction managers, owner's representatives, and project managers who support projects throughout the project lifecycle. This leader will provide strategic direction and operational oversight for a geographically diverse team, ensuring excellence in project delivery, employee development, client service, safety, and financial performance. The successful candidate will partner closely with group leaders and senior leadership to establish growth strategies, drive operational consistency, develop future leaders, and strengthen relationships with key clients across multiple markets. This role requires a balance of visionary leadership and hands-on business management, with responsibility for workforce planning, resource allocation, project execution, quality management, and achieving team performance goals. As a visible leader within the organization, this individual will play a critical role in expanding Olsson's construction services presence, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and positioning the team for long-term success.

Qualifications

You bring to the team:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction administration, construction management, construction observation, construction inspection, or related project delivery roles.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience leading, supervising, and developing technical personnel.
• Demonstrated experience successfully leading teams across multiple markets, client types, and geographic locations.
• Experience managing operational performance, staffing, utilization, financial results, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and leadership.
• Ability to contribute and work effectively in a team environment.
• This position requires periodic travel as needed to support project and business objectives.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred. 
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required.
