Founded in 1974 and built in an abandoned gas station in Sharon, PA, the Quaker Steak & Lube brand includes more than 30 locations in seven states across the U.S. Quaker Steak & Lube restaurants combine unique decor, including gas station memorabilia, classic cars, and motorcycles, with crave-able food and high-octane entertainment events. Quaker Steak & Lube has won hundreds of national and international awards for its food and more than 20 wing sauces. Quaker Steak & Lube is operated and franchised by JDK Management Company - a family of hospitality and service companies since 1982. Job Summary
We are looking for a Line Cook who is passionate about preparing and cooking food for our guests to QSL standards. Youll help provide each guest with an awesome dining experience through your passion and commitment to preparing quality food at its best. Responsibilities
- Prepares menu items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Ensures food presentation meets standards and is appealing to guests
- Monitors inventory and advises when additional prep work is needed
- Communicates effectively with others regarding ticket times, potential service problems, and other issues as they arise
- Maintains a clean and stocked work area, adhering to proper food handling and sanitation practices
- All other duties as assigned
- Prior line cook experience is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods
