Note that this entity is not a licensed broker-dealer.\n\nFor deeper insights into our entities and affiliates, explore futuclearing.com or moomoo.com/us to discover the future of investing with confidence and innovation.\nJob Summary\nThe Manager, Futures Regulatory Compliance will support the firm’s futures and derivatives compliance program, with primary responsibility for regulatory inquiries, examinations, licensing and membership initiatives, and related compliance coordination.\nThe successful candidate must possess significant hands-on experience within a futures commission merchant (FCM), futures clearing organization, exchange, regulator, or similarly regulated derivatives environment, with deep knowledge of CFTC, NFA, and applicable exchange requirements.\nThis role will serve as a key point of contact for matters involving the CFTC, NFA, CME Group, and other applicable futures exchanges and self-regulatory organizations. The Manager will coordinate regulatory responses, support examination readiness, maintain required documentation, and partner with Compliance, Futures Operations, Risk, Technology, Finance, Legal, AML, and business teams to address futures regulatory obligations.\nKey Responsibilities: Futures Regulatory Examinations and Investigations\n\n Serve as a primary Compliance coordinator and subject matter expert for regulatory examinations, audits, investigations, and information requests involving the firm’s futures business, including matters involving the CFTC, NFA, CME Group and other applicable exchanges and regulatory authorities.\n Lead and coordinate responses to routine examinations, investigations, inquiries, targeted reviews, and regulatory information requests involving futures activities.\n Manage regulatory requests involving futures trading, clearing, customer accounts, margin, collateral, segregation, supervisory controls, books and records, and related operational activity.\n Coordinate information gathering across Compliance, Futures Operations, Risk, Technology, Finance, Legal, and business units to ensure complete, accurate, and timely regulatory responses.\n Maintain examination logs, regulatory correspondence, document repositories, response trackers, and supporting records.\n Prepare and coordinate management responses, remediation plans, and corrective action initiatives resulting from regulatory examinations, findings, or identified control deficiencies.\n Conduct and support internal investigations involving potential violations of CFTC, NFA, exchange, or firm requirements.\n Provide regular updates to the Chief Compliance Officer and senior management regarding regulatory matters, examination findings, emerging risks, and remediation efforts.\nFutures Clearing and Operations Compliance Oversight\n\n Provide compliance oversight, guidance, and regulatory interpretation for the firm’s futures clearing and operational activities.\n Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the futures trade lifecycle, including order entry, execution, clearing, settlement, position management, margin, collateral, and reconciliation processes.\n Provide compliance guidance regarding customer and proprietary futures accounts, margin requirements, position management, account activity, and operational controls.\n Maintain strong knowledge of applicable customer protection, segregation, secured amount, and residual interest requirements.\n Partner with Futures Operations, Risk, Finance, and Technology to identify regulatory and operational risks and enhance related controls.\n Review and assess futures-related operational processes, supervisory controls, exception management, and escalation procedures.\n Participate in new product reviews, new market or exchange connectivity initiatives, operational changes, and regulatory change projects affecting the futures business.\n Support compliance oversight of clearing relationships, carrying arrangements, omnibus accounts, and other futures-related third-party or affiliate relationships, as applicable.\nFutures Trade Surveillance and Market Conduct\n\n Maintain comprehensive knowledge of futures market conduct requirements and surveillance expectations.\n Partner with Trade Surveillance and Compliance personnel in evaluating futures trading activity for potential manipulative, disruptive, or otherwise prohibited conduct.\n Provide subject matter expertise regarding futures order and trade activity, including order lifecycle analysis and trading patterns requiring regulatory review.\n Support investigations involving potential spoofing, layering, wash trading, prearranged trading, disruptive trading practices, position limit concerns, or other potential market conduct violations.\n Assist with regulatory inquiries and investigations involving futures orders, executions, positions, customer activity, and surveillance alerts.\n Partner with Technology and surveillance personnel to assess the effectiveness of futures surveillance scenarios, escalation processes, and supporting controls.\n Monitor developments in futures market conduct regulation and exchange enforcement priorities and recommend enhancements to the firm’s surveillance and supervisory framework.\nCFTC, NFA and Exchange Regulatory Compliance\n\n Maintain current knowledge of CFTC regulations, NFA rules and interpretive notices, and applicable futures exchange rules.\n Monitor regulatory developments affecting FCMs, futures clearing, derivatives trading, and customer protection requirements and assess their impact on the firm.\n Provide guidance regarding implementation of new or amended futures regulatory requirements.\n Assist in maintaining policies, supervisory procedures, compliance manuals, and control frameworks applicable to futures activities.\n Participate in futures-related risk assessments, compliance testing, and control reviews.\n Identify regulatory gaps or emerging risks and work with relevant stakeholders to develop appropriate remediation or control enhancements.\nFinancial Crimes and Customer Compliance\n\n Maintain a strong understanding of Anti-Money Laundering and financial crimes requirements as they apply to futures customers and activity.\n Partner with AML personnel regarding futures-related customer activity, transaction monitoring, customer due diligence, sanctions considerations, and suspicious activity investigations.\n Support regulatory examinations and information requests involving futures customer activity and financial crimes controls.\n Assist in identifying potentially suspicious or unusual futures trading or funding activity requiring escalation.\nGeneral Compliance Responsibilities\n\n Serve as a futures regulatory subject matter expert within the Compliance Department.\n Assist in the development and maintenance of Written Supervisory Procedures, compliance policies, and futures-specific supervisory controls.\n Participate in enterprise and business-level compliance risk assessments.\n Support implementation of regulatory initiatives and strategic compliance projects.\n Develop productive relationships with Futures Operations, Risk, Technology, Finance, Legal, business leadership, affiliated entities, and other control functions.\n Provide guidance and training to employees regarding futures regulatory requirements and compliance expectations.\n Promote a strong culture of compliance, escalation, and ethical conduct throughout the organization.\n\nRequirementsRequired Experience\n\n 5+ years of relevant compliance, regulatory, or supervisory experience, with significant experience supporting futures and derivatives activities.\n Significant hands-on experience within an FCM, futures clearing firm, futures exchange, regulatory organization, or financial institution with substantial futures operations.\n Demonstrated experience with CFTC, NFA, and/or futures exchange regulatory requirements.\n Experience managing or materially supporting regulatory examinations, investigations, audits, or information requests involving futures activities.\n Strong understanding of futures clearing and operational processes, including trade lifecycle, margin, collateral, position management, reconciliations, and customer account activity.\n Strong knowledge of FCM customer protection and segregation requirements.\n Demonstrated understanding of futures trade surveillance, market conduct, and disruptive trading practice requirements.\n Experience working in complex, highly regulated financial services environments and coordinating regulatory matters across multiple business and control Comprehensive knowledge of the U.S. futures regulatory framework, including CFTC regulations, NFA requirements, and applicable exchange rules.\n Strong understanding of FCM regulatory requirements and futures clearing operations.\n Knowledge of futures customer protection, segregation, margin, collateral, and books and records requirements.\n Strong understanding of futures market structure, order lifecycle, clearing, settlement, and position management.\n Knowledge of futures trade surveillance and market conduct requirements, including disruptive trading practices and manipulation risks.\n Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical policies, procedures, controls, and operational processes.\n Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.\n Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple regulatory initiatives simultaneously.\n Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex regulatory matters to senior management and non-compliance stakeholders.\n Strong attention to detail and ability to operate effectively under regulatory deadlines.\n Demonstrated ability to coordinate large-scale regulatory information requests across multiple functions.\nPreferred Attributes\n\n Direct experience working for or interacting extensively with the CFTC, NFA, CME Group, or other futures exchanges or regulatory organizations.\n Experience supporting an FCM with customer clearing activities.\n Experience with CME-listed futures and options on futures.\n Experience reviewing futures order-level data and reconstructing order and trade activity in connection with surveillance or regulatory investigations.\n Familiarity with futures position limits, large trader reporting, exchange reporting, and other futures regulatory reporting requirements.\n Experience with electronic trading environments and surveillance of algorithmic or high-volume futures activity.\n Experience with cross-product or cross-market surveillance involving futures, equities, options, or other asset classes.\n Experience working within multinational financial organizations.\n Familiarity with affiliate clearing arrangements and omnibus clearing environments.\n Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional regulatory projects and
