Mortgage Loan Closer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Closer to join our team. The Mortgage Closer is responsible for coordinating and preparing residential mortgage loan files for closing, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with company, investor, and regulatory requirements. This individual will work closely with borrowers, loan officers, title companies, attorneys, and internal teams to facilitate a smooth and timely closing process. Key Responsibilities Review approved loan files to ensure all closing conditions have been satisfied Prepare and verify closing disclosures and closing packages for accuracy and compliance Coordinate closing schedules with borrowers, title companies, attorneys, and other parties involved in the transaction Communicate funding requirements and closing instructions to settlement agents Ensure all loan documentation complies with federal, state, investor, and company guidelines Review title commitments, insurance documentation, and other closing-related documents Resolve discrepancies and obtain any missing information prior to closing Maintain accurate records and update loan status within the loan origination system Work closely with underwriting, processing, funding, and post-closing teams to ensure timely loan closings Provide exceptional customer service throughout the closing process Qualifications Previous experience as a Mortgage Closer, Closing Specialist, or related mortgage operations role Knowledge of residential mortgage lending processes and closing procedures Familiarity with TRID, Closing Disclosures, and mortgage compliance requirements Experience reviewing loan documentation for accuracy and completeness Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple loan files and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Proficiency with mortgage loan origination systems and Microsoft Office applications Preferred Qualifications Experience working with conventional, FHA, VA, and/or jumbo loan products Knowledge of investor guidelines and mortgage compliance regulations Experience with Encompass or other mortgage loan origination systems #J-18808-Ljbffr HNE
